If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the food biz, it’s that consumers buy with their eyes and you have about a nanosecond to engage them as they walk swiftly down the grocery aisle. What makes your product unique? Why should they try it? Consumers now more than ever are looking for convenience without compromise. Healthy is the new black and it’s here to stay.
Blendtopia, officially a national brand at Whole Foods, is also gracing freezer shelves at stores like Wegman’s, Raley’s, Earth Fare, Roche Bros, etc. Buyers love the concept, consumers LOVE the taste, but a packaging makeover was long overdue. As with any brand, packaging evolves over time as we learn more about our consumers. We first unveiled our new look at Expo West in March and it will officially hit freezer shelves within a matter of weeks.
What makes our product so unique?
I’ll say it again, it’s all about convenience without compromise. Each of our frozen, ready-to-blend smoothies is uniquely formulated to target a specific health benefit. I like to call them ‘smoothies with purpose’ and they mean business. Raw, whole, organic fruits & vegetables + a proprietary blend of superfoods in each smoothie kit.
I’m a Certified Raw Food & Holistic Nutritionist so I know my ingredients. I’ve studied herbalism extensively and I’ve been in the smoothie game for years now. Consumers are reading nutritional labels now more than ever and there’s no fooling them. They want clean ingredients that work hard for their body.
All those exotic superfoods sold in the supplement sections at health food stores (or online) that consumers are buying and adding to their morning smoothies, it’s already in our smoothies. We take the guesswork out of making the perfect smoothie but we also make sure the ingredients are serving their purpose and working in harmony to delivering results. Superfoods are POWERFUL medicine but knowing the right combinations is key.
